Celebrating the PGA...

This blog is going to serve many purposes...Don and I just returned from a company trip to North Carolina to be part of the Wyndham Championship PGA Tournament. (For all of you ladies, that's a golf tournament....like the boring ones on TV all weekend long). However, since Don's company happened to be the main sponsor, we were suddenly "VIPs" and actually spent a wonderful weekend with some great people! The tournament actually proved to be really incredible to see in person! The hospitality tents were luxurious and wonderful retreats from the hot and humid NC afternoons, and, of course most importantly, the food was amazing! A weekend well spent! It is always nice to be spoiled a little every once in a while. Don definitely deserved it...he works so hard! It was also fun that Don's brother Phillip and his wife Tracy were able to meet up with us, along with Bryce, our great nephew. We got passes for them to join us at the golf tournament and we spent some great time chatting and getting caught up! So, I have to celebrate the PGA for putting on a great event, and Wyndham for hosting us in luxury for the weekend! I was impressed and surprisingly entertained!

Now for the cheesy part of the blog.....celebrating the other part of the PGA.....my Pretty Great All-Around guy....Don! While we were on this trip, we celebrated our 5th Wedding anniversary AS WELL as Don's 30th Birthday! Two huge milestones....certainly worthy of note! As we were driving to the airport to fly out, I was reflecting on our anniversary saying, "Wow, its already been five years...," and Don's response was, "is that really all? It feels like its been forever." Well, I chose to take that as a compliment in certain context like, "I can't picture my forever without you, etc." That's what you meant, right Babe? ;) Either way, here's to celebrating you, Don! An incredible support, wonderful husband and perfect Daddy. We can't picture OUR forever without you! Thanks for who you are and the strength you offer through your smile and your hugs! We love you so much! With Big Hugs, your little family
