"You & Me Goin' Fishin'..."

Ever since Uncle Phillip bought Sydnie a fishing pole last Christmas....and Grandpa showed her how to cast it off the back deck into the snow...Sydnie has been obsessed with going fishing! This last week, she finally got her little wish! Grandpa Larry was sweet enough to take cute Syd to catch her first real fish with her pink Barbie fishing pole. She discovered all kinds of fun adventures...like the worms (which she would kiss individually and then put them back in their cup) and the joy of "catch & release." We did let her bring one home, which lived in our fridge for a day or two, and you've never seen a little girl so proud. Grandpa helped her reel in that "big one" and made her year! Kade, alternately just wanted to be IN the water, and found out the hard way that sand doesn't quite taste as good as it may look. Thanks, Grandpa for taking the time to indulge our little fisherwoman--who is now even more obsessed with the idea of going again! Let the "fish tales" begin!...
