Down Under...

Ever since we moved into our home, we've had issues with water leaking through our foundation into the basement. It has been an annoying dilemma as we've been trying to finish off a couple of rooms down there and didn't want to sacrifice them to the mildew. So, we finally took the plunge and hired someone to excavate out our entire foundation in the front of the house (down past the footings) and waterproof it. Needless to say....it has been a much bigger ordeal than we ever thought. And while grateful that it is finally done and taken care of forever (fingers crossed) we are now trying to deal with the aftermath that occurs after having a 10 foot hole across your front yard with a six foot wall of dirt piled up across your lawn, and now 8 inches of compressed mud still remaining in half of our grass. I just thought I'd share the destruction...Oh, the emotional rollercoaster of home improvement! Hopefully we can dig ourselves out before the snow hits!

What a nightmare! I am so sorry you guys are dealing with all that! Look on the bright side...you can landscape how YOU want it now! Love the halloween pics - SO CUTE! And the fishing entry is adorable. Way to go Larry! This fishing addiction won't lead to camping, will it!?! Love you.
