..."Did You Know?"

I adore Christmas music! Today, I was listening to this sweet song that really touched me. I don't even know the real name of the song, but the basic lyric was, "Mary did you know...that your baby boy..." and then it went on to describe all the amazing things the Christ went on to accomplish in his life. I sat and thought about those quiet moments that Mary spent with her sweet baby boy on that Christmas night. What must have been going through her mind? What did she really understand? And then I immediately thought of the sweet moments I've spent cradling my own precious baby boy, and realized that I probably don't comprehend the incredible mission he was sent here to fulfill. It was really humbling, and so sweet to think about my little Kade and all that he might be able to accomplish one day.

How grateful I am for that Christ child and that sweet mother Mary! On that "Silent Night"..."Let Earth Receive Her King!"
