So, we've been passing this nasty cold around our family the past few weeks. We're now on the second round, and I just had to share some of Sydnie's latest "sick quotes," because they are just too funny! The other day, she was sniffling and I asked her if her nose was running. She answered, "No Mommy, my nose isn't running...it stay right here on my face!" This morning, she woke up with a nasty cough and I informed her if her cough got any worse, we'd have to do the 'medicine cloud' (a.k.a. inhaler) so that it could help her breathe better. She responded, "I don't want to breathe, I breathe tomorrow!"
In the meantime, little Kade has learned so many new words in such a short time. I'm really
amazed! No complete sentences, yet, but he's sure trying to keep up with Syd! He can repeat, in some form, almost anything you ask him to say. He loves his sister, "NiNee," and can say "doggy," "Nana,""Bubba,"(grandpa) "thank you," "please," "blankie," "drink," "what?" "look!" and many other little words. One of my favorite new trends is that when he wakes up in the morning, or from a nap, he YELLS, "Daddy!" over and over and over. Don loves it and has now been suckered into getting up with Kade in the morning every day ;) Our kids are amazing, and most of all....they just make us smile because they love each other so much! Sure love you guys!

Sometimes I wish I could take a break from breathing too! Your kids are adorable. We miss you! Maybe music class needs to get re-prioritized and back on track so we can actually hang out. :)
