My kids are so ready for the sunshine and summer fun! They LOVE being outside and even more than that, they love playing in the water. We had our friends Lance and Claire over today to play in the sprinklers. The kids all had a blast and it was so nice to just let them run around! Sydnie, however, decided (on her own) that after about 15 mins. of playing in the water, that she would rather just lay on her towel with her sunglasses on. What a little diva she is! I swear, I did not
encourage, model or provoke any part of such activity. She really did just come wired that way, and I really am in for it! Here are a few "summer initiation" pictures from our water fun today!

We live in Vegas, actually. You're right -- I do see the resemblance in our boys. I'm thinking our kids are about the same age (Jayce is 3 1/2, Alyssa is 19 months). I'm glad I know your blog address now -- I can check up on your happenings (it was fun to see pics of your parents . . . I haven't seen them forever!). You do a great job with your posts!
Fun! Now if the rain would go away we could play outside every day! Syd is such a diva and I'm going to have to say she didn't get it from Don so that leaves....no comment!
So your parents escaped the neighborhood, eh? I wish mine would. :) (I sound so terrible for saying that). Vegas is treating us well, but we won't be here long-term. We're deciding between Cal and Utah for the long-haul, but we still have time to mull it over. I'm glad we've gotten in touch -- so fun to get updates! Unfortunately, you reminded me of my unfinished housework so I should get to work. :)

Oh your in big trouble!! I do however have a diva-ish picture of you in the hot tub from back in the day, so, I'm not totally convinced it's not genetics. I am sooo excited to be moving closer, we totally have to get together!!
I will have to take you up on that offer sometime... When it won't cost me $50 to drive down!!!!! We'll plan a day soon. I'll call ya.
