Yes, despite my incredibly late entry, we did have a fantastic Halloween! We spent the week leading up to the day making cookies, participating in
"Trick Or Treat on Main Street" down in Spanish Fork with all the cousins, carving pumpkins with Grandpa Larry, eating orange pumpkin pancakes for breakfast, decorating the "spooky" porch

with spider webs and putting finishing touche

s on the kids' costumes. They kind of came up with their own costume ideas this year. It was decided well before October that they were going to be
Woody & Jessie from Toy Story 2. It is one of their favorite movies, and it was sooo cute

how ex

cited they were to be dressing up together. The

y started wearing their hats and running around the house in their boots
many, many weeks before the actual holiday (and, are still wearing them to this day...perfect dress up for the two of them). Kade even has a great time wearing Syd's wig and her "Jessie" hat...
don't ask his Dad how he feels about that. By the time Halloween actually rolled around, the kids were so hyped up in anticipation (or excess of sugar) they could hardly stand it! We did get them to

sit still for a few moments to snap some pics, but then it was on to the T

runk-or-Treat with their cute friends and Trick-or-Treating with Dad and Ginger, the dog. The kids had so much fun, the Mom was exhausted, an

d the Dad grateful for a few extra Reese's around the house as a byproduct of all the work ;) The best part of the night was, of course, those cute kids of mine carrying their "punkins" and watching little Kade take off his "Woody" hat, swing it around it the air, and yell,
"Yeeeehah!" Happy Howdy Halloween, ya'll! (a little late)

Oh my goodness! They look so cute in those costumes. We almost went with Buzz and Jessie, but Jayce decided to go a different direction. I'm glad you guys had fun . . . Halloween is so much fun with kids!
So cute! Their costumes are unbelievable! Adorable! Once again, you continue to out do yourself year after year. Happy Halloween!
Oh My What Cuteness! Really adorable!!!
I heard they were going to be Woody and Jessie and I've been checking your blog every few days to see if you had posted the pics yet. Anyway, they look adorable! It's always fun to do themed costumes. Sounds like you guys had a blast!
Those are the cutest costumes ever, on the cutest kids ever!!!! I feel like I am looking at mini Alicia and mini Don as kids.
I bet Don was bummed he couldn't dress up like a big plushy lion. Oh well, there's always next year.
that is so cute, good job on the costumes!!
Your kids look so great. Don't you love Halloween and all of the festivities leading up to it? In Illinois each city has trick or treating on a different day, so it lasted for a week. It was so much fun!
