There is just something about Christmas lights...they just make you want to smile! Pure Christmas Spirit!
Over the last few years, my parents have moved to a different home and Dad has taken a year or so to reconfigure his light obsession. It has now evolved...
Friday Night we all huddled in the crisp night air in Spanish Fork as Dad's newest addition to his light family made her way down Main Street as part of the Christmas Light Parade! He and my mom designed and helped create this enormous (10 ft. x 12 ft.), yet beautiful, angel out of steel and lights. It was so fun to see her float her way down the street during the parade, and she will take up permanent holiday residence in their new front yard. It may not be the blinking star a top the roof, but it does go to show that you may be able to take Larry away from the lights for a year, but you can't take the lights out of Larry ;) Love ya' Dad!
Thanks for sharing your love of light...it really will forever be a part of my holiday and my heart!

I remember your house being the most sparkliest in the neighbor -- we always used to pass by it around Christmas. I'm glad your Dad continued the tradition . . . that angel looks awesome!
