It's a Boy!...

And, oh ya, we're expecting!?

I realize I haven't quite made the official cyber-announcement that we are indeed expecting little Hickman number three...sorry about that!? The reality of it all has been a little slow sinking in, I think. However, it does give me adequate justification for my extreme lameness in blogging as of late ;) At least, I hope so...

I am wishing my scanner was working so I could post the cute ultrasound pics! However, as soon as we get that back up and running I'll get them published. Instead, I'll post cute pics of the other two kids from our recent family portrait session :)

In the meantime, we are all thrilled and very excited for our new baby brother! Kade obsesses over the ultrasound pictures and wants to carry them around the house. Today at the Gap he picked out a little pair of shoes and said they were for his "baby budder." He is pretty excited. Sydnie is also thrilled. She was really hoping for a baby sister, but she has been such a great sport and glows as she announces to everyone she sees that baby boy is on his way. I really think she is just excited to have one more "follower" in her dominion around the house. This way, she also gets to remain Daddy's little princess...exclusively...for the time being. It doesn't get better than that!

There is certainly going to be no shortage of love for him around here. Also, no shortage of humor as this crazy Mom attempts to manage all three ;) Bring it on!
