Two years ago, I took my kids to participate in the city Easter Egg Hunt and quickly decided that there were too many people, and too much craziness. So this year Brooke (next door) and I decided that rather than watch the kids race around the big egg hunts and come up with minimal reward...that we would host an Easter Egg Hunt with friends from the neighborhood. This way, the kids all got plenty of eggs, we had lunch, and there was no problem finding parking ;) The kids had a great time, and Brooke and I did make a vow with one another to keep things simple--which we did. We missed the rain by about 5 mi
