Where has the time gone? My little time warp came to a dramatic halt this week as the reality hit that we welcomed our little Chase into the world over a month ago! I don't know if it's just the fact that it's summer time, or the endless
and humorous game of "catch up" I am playing with myself--but it doesn't seem possible that our little man is already more than a month old. It is, however, manifesting itself in my ongoing sleep deprivation (and consequential mood swings), piles of laundry, half-finished thank you cards and unreturned phone calls. If you fall into the category of being a hopeful recipient of one of the latter two items, please forgive. I'm getting there! ;) Nonetheless, I had to post an updated picture of our little buddy, and send out a group thank you to all of you who have loved, supported, cooked, cleaned, babysat and more this last month. I'm not going to admit to being "adjusted" quite yet, but I have found the courage to take all three kids to Target....by myself. Brave adventures ;)

As for sweet Chase, he is getting really tall and is finally starting to get some little cheeks and some meat on those little bones of his. It is amazing how much he has changed! We still can't figure out "who he looks like" in the family. After scouring through family baby pictures, we've concluded that he looks like Chase, and we love every squishy square inch of him! I am still loving having him little....for a few more weeks as long as it lasts. He is already growing too tall for his 0-3 mo. clothes! His calm and peaceful countenance continue to be gifts to his mother and he is quickly learning baby lessons in tolerance as Syd and Kade continue to love, love, love their baby brother ;)
Happy One Month Baby Chase!

That is a great photo. I don't know you can see the resemblance between he and Kade. Granted they are not twins but they do pass for brothers. I think you are a very brave mother of 3, and I believe as I watch that you are doing very well at adjusting to the change.
