Twirling Sydnie!

Syd had her little dance recital tonight! Based on her reaction to it all, I'm pretty certain it was one of the best nights of her little life. I was so worried she would be intimidated by the big stage, the lights and all the people. As it turns out, she loves the spotlight! ;) She ate up every minute of it...from the froofy costume and feathers in her hair to getting to wear a little bit of Mommy's make-up and the beautiful flowers from Daddy. She thrived on the hustle and bustle and excitement of it all! It made it that much better that she was able to take classes with and perform right next to her cute cousin, Madison.

Syd won't admit to being a dancer. She is a "twirler" and she goes to "twirling class"--not dance class. Whatever you prefer to call it, it was magical as a mom to watch my little girl "twirl" on that stage! I am so proud of my beautiful, twirling Sydnie!

She is so fun. I would have love to see her twirl all over the stage. She should love the stage, she is the spotlight most the time she is around because she is so cute, nice, and caring. She is a great girl.

Alicia...Congratulations on your beautiful baby. I am so glad you are both doing well. We were out of town the last two weeks of May. I am so sad I missed it. I loved reading and catching up on your life.

Such cute costumes! Dance recitals are alwats so much fun - they take you right back to childhood memories. We need to twirl more often. :) Way to go, Syd. You look just like a princess!

Syd looks so adorable I can't believe it! I wish we could have been there to see it. That's so cute that Don got her flowers - I love it!
