Happy 4th of July! Part of having a birthday so close to holidays always means lots of celebrations, family and festivities! The 4th of July is a favorite around here, so we always have to celebrate. We decided to multi-task and do Sydnie's birthday party and our 4th BBQ all in one big party! Bring on the family...bring on the food! Grandma Wendy made all the girl cousins matching dresses (Macie just decided to ditch hers for the pool). We loved the
parade, let the kids swim, eat, have cake and topped the day off with fireworks--which Syd was convinced were all just for her and her special day.She had requested a "dolphin party" this year, so (with some help from Nana) we made her a beach themed cake--complete with her and
Kade hanging on the beach--and we'll have her official "friends & neighbors" dolphin-themed party next week. Wow, this girl has got it good...parades, fireworks and multiple parties=two weeks of birthday fun for her! We loved every minute of the day, and especially the opportunity to celebrate this amazing country we are all so blessed to live in, and our sweet little girl! Hope it was a great one for all!

That cake is amazing! Now I'm rethinking what I wanted to make for Kaitlyn this weekend! Thanks for helping out with Kaitlyn last weekend. She loves her birthday gifts especiall the dolly. There's a package on it's way for Syd, Kade and you!
Of course those firewroks were all for Syd's birthday. Of course, she and Kade are fireworks in constant motion all on their own! Too cute! Love the cake!
