"All Aboard!..."

Santa surprised us all and brought us an early bag of goodies this year! Included were tickets to ride the "Polar Express" in Heber City! Monday night, the kids (excited, thrilled, etc.) got dressed in their warm jammies and we headed up the canyon to being our adventure!

Kade couldn't even contain his extreme excitement as he jumped his way to the big "choo-choo" train! He is completely enamoured with trains these days (note to Santa) and so this was a 2 year old dream come true for him! "All Aboard!..."

We boarded the train and the kids spent the entire trip with their little faces pressed intently up against the glass as we journeyed to the North Pole. The elves came around one by one to greet the kids and write down their Christmas Wishes. We had chefs serve us hot chocolate and cookies and read the "Polar Express" book together. The kids all shrieked in anticipation as we reached the Pole and they saw Santa waving to them from outside the train! It wasn't long before the Big Man himself made his appearance and sat with every child and gave them their magic bell. Shortly after, Mrs. Claus came through to say Hi and hand out secret recipes for her magical chocolate chip cookies.

Despite the cold weather, the magic was real and touched both of those little hearts. Syd and Kade loved every minute. No Polar Express would be complete without the conductor punching your ticket...and bringing you back home. It was an amazing ride, and an amazing night to relearn through the eyes and smiles of children the meaning of the word, "BELIEVE."

Christmas is magic. Faith, Hope and Love are made stronger and it helps to put all the other stuff in perspective. Keep believing!
